Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thank you for visiting my website and thank you all for your tremendous support throughout this election.  I am honored to be Clarksville's next Mayor and I will do my best to Put Clarksville First over the next four years.  I look forward to working with all of you.

Throughout this campaign I have outlined a vision for Clarksville and I look forward to implementing this vision as your Mayor.

I want to see a city that is on the move, progressing steadily towards excellence.  I want to see a city of opportunity - with great jobs and a first-rate quality of life.  Our city should be a place our children can get a good education, a great job and grow up to have a family of their own – right here in Clarksville.  I don’t want them to have to look elsewhere for opportunity and a better life.

My plan for achieving this vision includes six key components:

  • We must refocus our city on our goals and vision.

  • We must demand ethical leadership.

  • We must forge strong partnerships and work together to move Clarksville forward.

  • We must ensure that Clarksville is open for business and we should aggressively recruit new jobs and opportunities to our city.

  • We must reduce crime and provide a safe community for our families.

  • And we must manage our growth - balancing residential growth with commercial and industrial expansion.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me with the links above. Please also visit Piper for Mayor Campaign Headquarters located at 210 College Street.

I look forward to working with you. Thank you all for your belief in me, support, encouragement and prayers. I couldn’t do it without dedicated friends like you.

 Sincerely,

Johnny Piper
